SAITRACK – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date: June 15th, 2026

These Terms apply to purchases made on or after this date. Saitrack may update these Terms when products, technology, laws, security requirements, or services change. Material changes affecting an existing customer’s paid service will be communicated where reasonably possible.

1. GENERAL USE & SERVICE
1.1 Pay Once & Done Service

Saitrack’s Pay Once & Done package does not require standard monthly or yearly renewal fees for the core tracking service included with the customer’s purchased package.

“Pay Once & Done” applies only to the device, installation and core service features specifically included at the time of purchase. It does not mean that every future product, feature, technology, upgrade, replacement, third-party service or security enhancement will be provided free of charge.

The service cannot be paused, credited, refunded or transferred due to vehicle downtime, storage, repairs, lack of use, sale of the vehicle or customer unavailability.

1.2 Final Sale & Refund Policy

All Saitrack devices, installations, activations and service packages are considered final sale once the device has been installed, activated or assigned to the customer’s account.

Refunds will not be provided for change of mind, sale or transfer of the vehicle, vehicle downtime, personal disputes, lack of use, recovery outcomes, or incorrect installation permission provided by the customer.

Where a device is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect, Saitrack may repair or replace it in accordance with the applicable warranty. A defective device does not automatically qualify for a cash refund.

This policy does not limit any rights available to the customer under applicable laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

1.3 Vehicle Ownership & Installation Authorization

The customer confirms that they are the legal owner of the vehicle or have clear and lawful permission from the vehicle owner to purchase, install and use the Saitrack tracking device.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate ownership and authorization information before installation. Saitrack may request identification, vehicle documents or written authorization where considered necessary.

Saitrack is not responsible for disputes, claims or losses arising from false information, ownership disagreements, unauthorized installations or permission later being withdrawn.

Any person who provides false or misleading information accepts full responsibility for the consequences arising from the installation or use of the device.

1.4 Legal Use & Privacy Compliance

Saitrack products and services must only be used for lawful and authorized purposes.

The customer is responsible for informing any driver, employee or other person who regularly uses the vehicle that a tracking device is installed, where disclosure or consent is required by law.

The customer must not use Saitrack products to secretly monitor, harass, threaten or unlawfully track another person.

Saitrack is not responsible for privacy violations, unauthorized tracking, misuse of location information or failure by the customer to obtain any required permission or consent.

Saitrack may suspend or terminate access where there is reasonable concern that a device is being used unlawfully, fraudulently or without proper authorization.

1.5 Device Tampering & Interference

Customers must not remove, relocate, modify, disconnect, open or tamper with a Saitrack device or its installation without prior approval from Saitrack.

Any inspection, repair, removal or reinstallation should be completed by Saitrack or an authorized technician. Work performed by another person may affect device performance and may void the applicable device or installation warranty.

Saitrack is not responsible for service interruptions, missed alerts, damage or tracking failure caused by tampering, unauthorized work, vehicle repairs, battery replacement, electrical work or accidental disconnection.

Testing, repairs, removal, reinstallation or correction of issues caused by tampering or unauthorized third-party work may carry an additional service fee.

1.6 Rechargeable Device Charging & Customer Responsibility

Customers using a rechargeable Saitrack GPS device are responsible for regularly monitoring the battery level and charging the device when required.

The battery level should not be allowed to fall below 15%. Customers should charge the device promptly after receiving a low-battery notification and should not wait until the battery is fully depleted.

Like all rechargeable batteries, allowing the device to remain completely discharged for an extended period may permanently damage the battery. In some cases, the battery may no longer charge or operate successfully.

Battery life will vary depending on movement, signal strength, location reporting, alerts, device settings, network conditions and usage. Any estimated battery duration is provided as a guide only and is not guaranteed.

If the battery becomes low or fully discharged, the device may stop reporting its location, sending alerts or assisting with vehicle recovery. Saitrack is not responsible for missed tracking information, alerts, loss or an unsuccessful recovery caused by the customer’s failure to keep the device adequately charged.

Low-battery notifications are provided as a convenience and should not be the customer’s only method of monitoring the device. Failure to receive, see or respond to a notification does not remove the customer’s responsibility to keep the device charged.

Battery damage caused by neglect, prolonged discharge, improper charging, misuse or failure to follow the recommended charging instructions is not covered under the device warranty.

Where battery replacement, testing, inspection or repair is required due to these circumstances, the work and replacement battery will be provided at the customer’s cost.

2. Limited Device Warranty

2.1 Warranty Coverage

All new Saitrack GPS devices include a one-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase.

Customers may qualify for an additional two years of complimentary extended warranty, providing up to three years of total warranty coverage, by registering for the Saitrack Customer Upgrade Programme and agreeing to receive information about new features, security enhancements, device upgrades and optional paid services.

Registration in the Customer Upgrade Programme does not include free upgrades. Any new feature, security enhancement, upgraded device, installation, premium service or optional add-on offered through the programme will be provided at an additional cost unless Saitrack clearly states otherwise.

Customers are not required to purchase an upgrade to remain eligible for the extended warranty. They must, however, keep their contact information current and remain registered to receive upgrade information.

The warranty applies only to verified manufacturing defects affecting the normal operation of the original Saitrack device. Where a covered defect is confirmed, Saitrack may inspect, repair or replace the device at its discretion.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Tampering, unauthorized removal, relocation or modification

  • Installation, repairs or electrical work performed by an unauthorized third party

  • Physical damage, impact, burning, short-circuiting or damaged wiring

  • Water or moisture damage beyond the device’s stated protection rating

  • Misuse, neglect, improper charging or failure to follow instructions

  • Battery damage caused by allowing a rechargeable device to remain fully or deeply discharged

  • Damage caused by vehicle faults, power surges, accidents, fire, flooding, pests or environmental conditions

  • Normal wear, reduced battery capacity over time or cosmetic damage

  • Mobile network, GPS signal, application or third-party service interruptions

The extended warranty does not provide free access to future paid features, upgraded hardware, premium security services, installation work or optional service packages.

A warranty repair or replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period unless Saitrack confirms otherwise in writing.

2.2 Exclusion And Limitation Of Liability

Saitrack uses reasonable technical, security and operational measures to maintain its tracking platform and protect customer information. However, no GPS, mobile network, internet, server or computer system can be guaranteed to operate continuously or remain completely free from interruption, error or unauthorized access.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saitrack is not responsible for loss, damage, expense, delayed alerts, missed tracking information or service interruption resulting from circumstances outside Saitrack’s reasonable control, including:

  • GPS satellite, mobile network, internet or electrical outages

  • Server downtime, scheduled maintenance, software errors or technical failures

  • Failure or interruption of third-party hosting, mapping, cloud, telecommunications or data services

  • Cyberattacks, hacking, malware, ransomware, denial-of-service attacks or other unauthorized interference

  • Security vulnerabilities that were not reasonably known or preventable at the time

  • Delayed, inaccurate or unavailable location updates, alerts or notifications

  • Theft, loss, damage or disappearance of a vehicle or its contents

  • A discharged rechargeable device or failure by the customer to properly charge, monitor or maintain it

  • Tampering, accidental disconnection, removal, relocation or unauthorized third-party work

  • Incorrect ownership, contact, vehicle or installation information provided by the customer

  • Police response times, recovery decisions or the actions of law-enforcement authorities and other third parties

Where a technical failure, cyber incident or security risk occurs, Saitrack may temporarily suspend, restrict or modify access to the service while investigating, securing, maintaining or restoring the system.

Saitrack will make reasonable efforts to restore affected services but does not guarantee a specific restoration time, uninterrupted service, continuous data availability or the recovery of all historical tracking information.

Saitrack is not responsible for business losses, loss of income, loss of opportunity, replacement transportation, towing, storage costs or other indirect, incidental or consequential expenses arising from service interruption, theft or an unsuccessful recovery.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

2.3 No Guarantee of Theft Prevention or Recovery

Saitrack GPS is designed to assist with vehicle monitoring, location tracking and recovery efforts. It is not an alarm system, theft-prevention guarantee or insurance policy.

Saitrack does not guarantee:

  • That a vehicle will not be stolen, damaged, moved or interfered with

  • That every movement, tampering or theft event will trigger an alert

  • That alerts or notifications will be received immediately

  • Continuous GPS, mobile network, internet, server or application availability

  • The accuracy or availability of every location update

  • That a tracking device will not be found, removed, damaged, blocked or disabled

  • A specific police response time or recovery timeframe

  • That a stolen vehicle or its contents will be successfully recovered

Successful tracking and recovery may be affected by circumstances outside Saitrack’s reasonable control, including device tampering, signal jamming, GPS obstruction, poor mobile coverage, discharged batteries, network or server interruptions, cyber incidents, environmental conditions, criminal activity and law-enforcement response.

Where recovery assistance is included, Saitrack will make reasonable efforts to provide available location information and support the customer and law-enforcement authorities. However, all recovery decisions, investigations and physical recovery actions remain under the control of the relevant authorities.

Customers must not attempt to confront, follow or recover a stolen vehicle themselves. The theft must first be reported to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, and the customer must then contact Saitrack promptly for assistance.

The failure to prevent theft or successfully recover a vehicle does not mean that the device, installation or service is defective and does not automatically qualify the customer for a refund, compensation or warranty claim.

2.4 Customer Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Saitrack, The Car Wizz Ltd, and their employees, authorized agents and service providers from claims, losses, damages, expenses or legal proceedings caused by the customer’s unlawful, unauthorized, negligent or improper use of a Saitrack product or service.

This includes claims arising from:

  • Unauthorized or unlawful vehicle tracking

  • Installation or use without the legal owner’s permission

  • False, misleading or inaccurate ownership, vehicle or contact information

  • Ownership, relationship, employment or access disputes

  • False theft reports or misuse of recovery assistance

  • Sharing login details or location information with unauthorized persons

  • Failure to properly charge, secure, maintain or monitor the device

  • Tampering, unauthorized removal, relocation or third-party work

  • Failure to inform drivers or obtain consent where legally required

  • Breach of these Terms & Conditions or applicable law

This section applies only where the claim, loss or expense results from the customer’s actions, instructions, negligence or misuse. It does not remove any responsibility that Saitrack cannot legally exclude under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

3. Vehicle Theft & Recovery Procedure

3.1 Reporting A Stolen Vehicle

If Saitrack cannot be reached immediately, the customer must follow the procedure stated in Section 3.3 and continue providing available tracking information directly to the police.

After contacting the police, the customer should contact Saitrack as soon as possible and provide:

  • Customer’s full name and contact number

  • Vehicle registration number

  • Vehicle make, model and colour

  • Police station contacted

  • Police report or reference number, where available

  • Any other information reasonably requested to assist with tracking and recovery support

Saitrack may provide available live-location information and reasonable assistance to the customer and the police. All investigations, interception, pursuit and physical recovery activities remain the responsibility of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.

If Saitrack is temporarily unavailable, experiencing a high volume of emergency calls, or cannot respond immediately, the customer must not delay the police response. The customer should provide the police with all available information shown in the Saitrack application, including the vehicle’s current location, last reported location, direction of travel, time of the last update and any relevant movement history.

The customer should continue monitoring the Saitrack application and provide updated location information directly to the police until Saitrack becomes available or the police advise otherwise.

Customers must not attempt to confront, follow, intercept or recover the stolen vehicle themselves. Saitrack is not responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from a customer or any other unauthorized person attempting to recover the vehicle.

Failure to contact Saitrack immediately does not prevent the customer from using the application or providing tracking information directly to the police. Saitrack does not guarantee immediate telephone availability, a specific response time or successful vehicle recovery.

3.2 Saitrack Recovery Assistance

After the vehicle theft has been reported to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, the customer should contact Saitrack as soon as possible and provide the relevant vehicle, customer and police report information.

Where available, Saitrack may assist by:

  • Reviewing the vehicle’s current or last reported location

  • Monitoring available movement and location updates

  • Providing relevant tracking information to the customer or police

  • Assisting with communication during the recovery process

  • Providing reasonable technical support relating to the Saitrack device and application

Saitrack’s role is limited to providing available tracking information and reasonable recovery support. All investigations, interception, pursuit, entry onto property, arrests and physical recovery actions must be handled by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service or other authorized law-enforcement personnel.

Saitrack does not operate a private armed-response or physical recovery service and will not instruct customers, employees or members of the public to confront or pursue suspects.

Recovery assistance is subject to device power, GPS and mobile-network availability, server and application operation, location accuracy, customer cooperation and Saitrack staff availability.

Saitrack does not guarantee immediate telephone assistance, continuous monitoring, a specific response time or successful recovery of the vehicle or its contents.

The customer should continue monitoring the Saitrack application and provide updated location information directly to the police, especially where the vehicle is moving or Saitrack cannot respond immediately.

3.3 When Saitrack Is Temporarily Unavailable

Saitrack aims to provide timely recovery support; however, immediate assistance may not always be available due to high emergency call volumes, network problems, server interruptions, technical issues, staff availability or other circumstances outside Saitrack’s reasonable control.

If Saitrack cannot be reached or cannot respond immediately, the customer must not delay contacting or updating the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.

The customer should provide the police with all available information shown in the Saitrack application, including:

  • The vehicle’s current or last reported location

  • The time of the latest location update

  • The vehicle’s direction of travel, where shown

  • Recent movement or route history

  • The vehicle registration number, make, model and colour

  • Any other information that may assist the police

The customer should continue monitoring the application and provide updated location information directly to the police until Saitrack becomes available or the police advise otherwise.

Saitrack does not guarantee uninterrupted telephone availability, immediate response, continuous monitoring or a specific response time. Temporary unavailability does not prevent the customer or police from using available tracking information shown in the application.

4. Ongoing Service, Updates & Optional Upgrades

4.1 Core Service

The core tracking service included with the customer’s original Pay Once & Done package does not require standard monthly or yearly renewal fees.

The core service is limited to the device, installation and features included with the package at the time of purchase. It is subject to device operation, network availability, server access, third-party services and the other limitations stated in these Terms & Conditions.

4.2 Maintenance & Free Updates

Saitrack may provide selected software maintenance, bug fixes, performance improvements and security updates at no additional cost where reasonably practical.

Free updates are provided at Saitrack’s discretion and may depend on the device model, hardware capability, package, operating system, network compatibility and date of purchase.

Saitrack does not guarantee that every update, improvement or security enhancement will be available for every customer or device.

4.3 Optional Paid Features & Upgrades

New features, advanced alerts, security enhancements, premium services, artificial intelligence features, third-party integrations, additional users, upgraded hardware, replacement devices and other future improvements may be offered at an additional cost.

Customers are not required to purchase optional upgrades to continue using the original core service, provided that the existing device and service remain technically supported, secure and compatible.

The price, requirements and benefits of an optional upgrade will be communicated before the customer agrees to purchase it.

4.4 Required Technology Or Security Changes

Technology, mobile networks and security requirements may change over time. In some cases, an updated device, replacement component, new installation, paid security improvement or third-party service may be required to maintain compatibility, security or continued operation.

Where an additional cost applies, Saitrack will inform the customer before the upgrade or work is completed.

A required technology or security upgrade does not mean that the original device was defective and does not automatically qualify the customer for a refund, warranty replacement or free upgrade.

5. Service Coverage & Technical Limitations

5.1 Service Coverage

Saitrack tracking and recovery assistance is intended primarily for use within Trinidad and Tobago.

A device may continue to transmit location information outside Trinidad and Tobago where compatible GPS and mobile-network coverage is available. However, Saitrack does not guarantee international connectivity, roaming, alerts, technical support or vehicle recovery assistance outside Trinidad and Tobago.

Any service, roaming, data, technical support or recovery assistance offered outside Trinidad and Tobago may be subject to additional conditions and charges.

5.2 GPS, Mobile Network & Internet Limitations

The operation of a Saitrack device depends on GPS satellites, mobile networks, internet access, electrical power, servers, maps, applications and third-party service providers.

Location information, alerts or updates may be delayed, inaccurate or temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Weak or unavailable mobile-network coverage

  • Underground or enclosed parking

  • Buildings, tunnels, mountains or heavy environmental obstruction

  • GPS interference, signal jamming or criminal interference

  • Network congestion, provider changes or service outages

  • Internet, server, application or third-party system interruptions

  • Device power loss, discharged batteries or vehicle electrical problems

  • Maintenance, updates or security-related service restrictions

Saitrack does not control GPS satellites, telecommunications providers, internet providers, mapping services or other third-party systems and cannot guarantee their continuous availability or performance.

5.3 Vehicle & Device Compatibility

Device performance may vary depending on the vehicle, installation location, electrical system, construction materials, device model, mobile network and environmental conditions.

Some future software, security or network changes may not be compatible with older devices, mobile phones, operating systems or vehicle installations.

Where new hardware, installation work, replacement parts or paid upgrades are required, the customer will be informed of the applicable cost before the work is completed.

5.4 Service Suspension Or Discontinuation

Saitrack may temporarily suspend, restrict or discontinue a service or feature where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, network changes, suspected misuse, technical compatibility or circumstances outside Saitrack’s reasonable control.

Saitrack will make reasonable efforts to restore or provide an alternative service where practical but does not guarantee that every feature or third-party service will remain available permanently.

Suspension or discontinuation of an optional feature or third-party service does not automatically qualify the customer for a refund, replacement device or free upgrade.

6. Agreement To Terms

6.1 Customer Acceptance

By purchasing, installing, activating, registering or using any Saitrack device, application, feature or service, the customer confirms that:

  • They have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

  • They understand the responsibilities, warranty limitations, charging requirements, technical limitations and recovery procedures stated in these Terms.

  • They understand that Saitrack assists with tracking and recovery but does not guarantee theft prevention, immediate assistance or successful recovery.

  • They accept responsibility for protecting their login details and controlling who can access the vehicle’s location information.

6.2 Changes To Terms, Prices And Services

Saitrack may update its prices, policies, features, services and Terms & Conditions when reasonably necessary because of changes in technology, security requirements, operating costs, laws, mobile networks, third-party providers or business operations.

Updated prices will apply to future purchases, optional upgrades, replacement devices, installation work and additional services. Changes will not create a standard monthly or yearly renewal charge for the original core Pay Once & Done service unless the customer separately agrees to purchase a different paid service.

Where a material change directly affects an existing customer’s paid service, Saitrack will make reasonable efforts to provide notice through the customer’s registered phone number, email address, application, website or another suitable method.

Continued use of the service after reasonable notice of an applicable update may be treated as acceptance of the revised Terms, subject to any rights available under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

6.3 Customer Contact Information

The customer is responsible for keeping their telephone number, email address, vehicle information and other account details current.

Saitrack is not responsible where important notices, security information, recovery communication or upgrade offers cannot be delivered because the customer failed to update their contact information.

6.4 Severability

If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6.5 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. Any dispute relating to a Saitrack product or service will be handled according to the applicable laws and courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
