SAITRACK – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Saitrack. By purchasing, installing, activating, or using any Saitrack device, software, service, or tracking solution, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. Please review this page periodically for the latest version.

1. GENERAL USE & SERVICE
1.1 Activation & Continuity of Service
  • All Saitrack services operate on a continuous annual basis.

  • Services cannot be paused, suspended, or placed on hold for any reason, including vehicle downtime, storage, repairs, or user unavailability.

  • (Prime Package not applicable — pay-as-you-go rules apply separately.)

1.2 No Refunds
  • All Saitrack devices, services, fees, and installation charges are strictly non-refundable, regardless of circumstances.

  • This includes, but is not limited to:

    • selling the vehicle

    • transferring ownership

    • personal disputes

    • recovery outcomes

    • incorrect installation permissions provided by the customer

1.3 Ownership & Authorization Responsibility
  • The customer confirms they are the legal owner of the vehicle OR have written and lawful authority from the owner.

  • Saitrack is not responsible for disputes regarding ownership, permission, or unauthorized installations.

  • Any misrepresentation is the sole responsibility of the customer, who accepts all consequences.

1.4 Legal Use & Privacy Compliance
  • Saitrack products must only be used for lawful and authorized purposes.

  • Customers must ensure all drivers or individuals using the vehicle are aware of and consent to tracking, in compliance with privacy laws.

  • Saitrack is not liable for any privacy violations, misuse, or unauthorized tracking.

1.5 Device Tampering & Interference
  • Customers must not remove, modify, disconnect, or tamper with the tracking device.

  • Any interruption caused by tampering is the customer’s responsibility and may incur service fees.

1.6 Wireless Device Charging
  • Wireless devices must be charged every 2 weeks (or as needed).

  • Saitrack is not responsible for performance issues resulting from low battery or failure to charge the device.

2. LIABILITY, WARRANTY & LIMITATIONS

2.1 Warranty Coverage
  • All Saitrack devices include a ONE-year manufacturer warranty.

  • Warranty applies only to manufacturing defects and does not cover:

    • tampering

    • water damage

    • improper installation by third parties

    • burning, short-circuiting, or physical damage

    • misuse or negligence

2.2 Exclusion of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saitrack is not responsible for:

  • voided vehicle warranties

  • electrical issues not caused directly by a faulty Saitrack device

  • loss, theft, damage, or disappearance of the vehicle

  • tracking data delays or interruptions

  • network outages or third-party system failures

  • incorrect installation permissions provided by the customer

  • any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

2.3 No Guarantee of Theft Prevention or Recovery
  • Saitrack does not guarantee theft prevention, system alerts, notification times, or successful vehicle recovery.

  • While Saitrack will assist, many factors are outside our control (criminal activity, signal blockages, environment, law enforcement response, etc.).

2.4 Indemnification

The customer agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless Saitrack, its agents, employees, and partners from any claims, disputes, damages, legal actions, or liabilities arising from:

  • misuse of the device

  • unauthorized tracking

  • ownership disputes

  • false theft reports

  • customer negligence or failure to follow instructions

  • violation of these Terms & Conditions

3. VEHICLE RECOVERY (WHERE APPLICABLE)
3.1 Reporting Requirements
  • The owner must report the theft to the police AND report it to Saitrack immediately.

  • Saitrack cannot report theft on your behalf.

3.2 Recovery Efforts
  • Saitrack will make reasonable efforts to assist recovery within Trinidad & Tobago only.

  • We do not guarantee timelines, outcomes, or law enforcement responses.

3.3 Customer Responsibilities
  • Customer must inform Saitrack immediately when the vehicle is recovered.

  • False reports, misuse, or failure to follow instructions may result in service termination or additional fees.

4. RENEWALS - Not applicable

5. LIMITATIONS & EXCLUSIONS

  • Services operate only within Trinidad & Tobago.

  • Saitrack is not liable for:

    • network provider changes

    • system outages

    • GPS signal loss due to environmental factors

    • failure caused by customer tampering

    • third-party installation issues

  • All service fees and device fees are non-refundable, regardless of recovery status or other circumstances.

6. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By purchasing, installing, activating, or using any Saitrack product or service, the customer agrees that:

  • They have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

  • They have the full legal authority to install a tracking device in the vehicle.

  • Saitrack is not responsible for unauthorized installations, ownership disputes, or any claims arising from misuse.

  • All fees, prices, policies, and terms are subject to change with or without notice.

By signing during purchase or installation, the customer confirms:

  • They agree to all Terms & Conditions.

  • They accept full responsibility for legal compliance, ownership, and authorized use.

  • They understand Saitrack cannot be held liable for any claims, losses, damages, misuse, or disputes.
